Guaranteed to cure your every ill! From the early 1900's, these kits were used to treat a multitude of conditions. Baldness, headaches, arthritis, general unwell symptoms, and the list goes on.
The black box in the center is the power supply that would be plugged into an outlet. Then the big black wand was plugged into the box.
Then a person would select the glass wand for whatever condition they wanted to treat and attach it to the black wand.
Then the unit would be turned on and electricity would flow into the glass wand.
The person would then place the glass wand on whatever part of the body they were attempting to treat and zap the illness away!
The quackery name comes from the fact that, as wonderful as all this sounds, it really didn't work.
